Kingston History Paddle

The “Kingston history paddle” is by canoe or kayak along the scenic Kingston waterfront with an emphasis on the rich history of Canada’s first capitol. Covering nearly 200 years, this relaxed paddle travels east along the Kingston waterfront from the West St. boat launch to Cedar Island just off Fort Henry. With 140 licensed taverns in 1840, Kingston has a distinct reputation with good drink. There are many  entertaining tales in its past which include piracy, grave robbing, rum running, ghosts and military misadventures. Allow 90 min. to 2 hrs. Some paddling ability required. Groups up to 8, all equipment provided.
